Bonjour! We’re Releasing an Enhanced French (beta) Speech-to-Text Language Model

We’re excited to now offer an Enhanced speech-to-text language model for French 🇫🇷! (Read on for details, including how to get access.)

French is spoken by over 300,000,000 (three hundred million) people worldwide; and, it's the third most-spoken language in the European Union (EU)? It's a lot of folks, to be clear! That’s why we’re thrilled to announce extended Deepgram's language support to our customers with our new Enhanced French model.

Give our French Language Model a Try

If you want to try out our Enhanced French speech-to-text model you can quickly create an account on Deepgram Console and we’ll give you $150 in free credits. Just select 'French' from the language menu when trying out our APIs! 

If you’re already a Deepgram customer, you can call the Enhanced French model using the following arguments:

• model=general

• tier=enhanced

• version=beta

• language=fr
